In case you wonder what I do with too much time on my hands... Making Killer Klown's balloon dog for the "show"...who knew superglue doesn't work on noodle material?! Had to break out the duct tape!
Sometimes you have to walk away from the computer and just breathe. Dinner in La Conner, WA.
Keith Edwards on Twit had this and everyone needs to see it and act on it! Have 5k more people on my profile here than Twit, so here you go!! WRITE!
When things get so dark, we hit the trails...Cornet Bay walk, looking off to Deception Pass bridge (which I managed to hide in the trees)
Continuing the "go in to nature" (where screaming is more muffled, ha) ... here we have Cranberry Lake looking quite 1950s today.
Unplugged from social media. Ft Casey park, with Rainier looking quite majestic. Wish we'd had the good camera along instead of the cell phone!
Can fully recommend this NordicWare pan with the cute little ornaments (got it at King Arthur Baking) Spray it with the "flour added" Pam and they pop right out! Orange spice cakelet recipe on NordicWare's page! Happy New Year's Eve gobblin'!😘
You want to see a pic of what set off a STORM of magats on my Facebook post? Yeah. This. A hairstyling wig head. Because she's fancy. And holding her flag. Talk about SNOWFLAKES!
I was going to post a pic of myself, but man, it was hot out hiking and no one wants to see that, so here's a round web that reminded me of some glittering space palace from Star Wars.
Purchased this fantastic marquetry piece today at the Anacortes show. Maple, pecan, zebra, bubinga, oak, etc- the craftsmanship was mind blowing. This piece is 8x10 but there were stunning larger pieces. I need to win the Powerball! x.com/jeffjoyanne
Went out looking for some No Kings 2 protest, but nothing happening, so here's some pics of Penn Cover instead! And some loafers...
My tiny town of 1,800 gathered just a FEW more than that! We had folks from the other towns up and down the island- must have easily been over 3,000 there (very small pic- went up and down the highway to the left and right) #NoKings #NoKingsProtest #NoKingsInAmerica
"Describe yourself with a building"---I'm afraid I'd be an overly adorned Victorian :)
Cute moment of the day- Hubs was trying to get a birdie, and ended up with actual...birdies. Excuse me, men!
Wonderful day in the PNW with hundreds turning out for our Hands Off Protest. We took a hike at Coronet Bay after, and watched the sightseeing boats heading out Deception Pass.
In a break from politics... if you've a drop of the auld sod in your blood- Happy St P's!
Sailed through the one day blackout. Going to be a little harder on a week off Amazon, but we'll do it! (Got too used to stocking up there. We don't go in to actual stores much) Save the dates!
Ahoy. ("Scow" always puts me right in the Trek episode with Scotty and the Klingons saying oh wait, the Enterprise isn't a garbage scow- it should be hauled away AS garbage...and...<POW! BAM!> 😂
We've got a (little known?!) Nissan Ariya. Does she look like all the other Honda, Toyota, Hyundai SUV type things? Sure. But I'm not worried about burning to death in her!
Admiring Mt Baker on a sunny day in Jan across Penn Cove. These walks are keeping me sane, for sure.
Hiked out to that little point there. 44 degrees in January and sunny! Love the PNW :)
