I still think there's something in extreme compression + post-process blur. Eg, this is a 1kb AVIF with some post-process blur. You can tell what it is. I'm sure a dedicated format/effort could get this number down further.

Watch out! Chrome has a huge bug with <input type="number"> which causes values to change unexpectedly. It's fixed in Chrome 150, but that won't land until the end of June.

That time of year where I hook the Chromecast Audio up to a portable speaker and have the same music sync'd inside and outside. Then I get sad that Google discontinued such a wonderful bit of kit. I wish they open sourced it.
