I respect this poster and agree with the spirit of this, but "anyone" should be replaced with "anyone who regularly talks about this in a public setting". It should not, for instance, include the entirety of the 69% of people cited in that Ringer article.

i don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in
2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice

the assessment of personal wellbeing is unchanged in 8 years, ~73% of people say they're doing good.

the assessments of local and national economies are nearly parallel, with national a good 15% lower. both tick down in 2020 sharply and do not recover
