If you are at Partizan today why not stop by and see our Cape Finisterre game on table DG24?
Bit of a long shot but does anyone have access to the Tank crew arc of Cadman? Researching for a talk at The Tank Museum ?
Quite pleased how the Heroics and Ross figures turned out, all ready to be used for the US Army's Dunn Kempf rules at Wargames Developments Conference of Wargamers.
I do enjoy going and taking photos for my talks.
A great game last night as Like A Stone Wall Wargames Group refought the Battle of Santo Domingo 6 Feb 1806.
Interesting afternoon playing the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring trick taking game. It's been fun playing solo after my daughter got it for me for Christmas and it was even more fun 4 player. Need to try the 2 and 4 player before I review it
My Post Christmas pre New Year project nears completion - a platoon+ of West German territorials in 20mm.
I think our Elf on the Shelf game has got out of hand...
Having fun today with a 1 hour paint. First time I have tried AK Markerpens on a vehicle. Quite pleased with the result
I went to see the stunning Nuremberg tonight. Highly recommended, full review to follow.
It's just suddenly struck me how much the Imperial officer uniform looks like the Imperial Japanese officer uniform of WW2.
Using AK Play Markers to test paint a speedpaint RAD trooper for 1 Para to fight working into Arnhem scenario for my British Officers Don't Duck rules.
Interesting 30 min experiment, Mars 20mm British paras, AK Playmarkers and wood filler. Quite pleased how well the markers worked for a speedpaint. Not ideal for detail but as a speedpaint for a massed force they work well. Wood filler also worked better than expected. Video to follow on YouTube.
Test paint of a 20mm US Desert Storm grenadier. Only I could choose as a test model with 2 different camo schemes!
More on location shooting...
On location and VERY wet...
Not bad for a 20 min speed paint. As I'm about to run a competition I thought I ought to check I can do it myself!
Trying something new is often a bit scary but great fun (sometimes). Just been filming a video of my first attempt with AK Playmarkers and a wash.

Like a Stone Wall's 2 day Waterloo wargame yesterday. The day ended with the allies counter attacking on their right, the centre buckling under combined arms attacks and the Prussians slowly advancing. Live updates on YouTube throughout the day.

My take on the US nuclear subs being moved towards Russia.
