I continued in the AC modern day with Assassins' Creed Syndicate, and I helped out the Montpellier studio with the London Stories and some preorder missions. It was a big step up for me and I was supported at every turn by the JLA: The Justice League of Assassin's Creed writers. #PortfolioDay
My first shipped game with Ubisoft was ASSASSIN'S CREED ROGUE, the last of the old-gen PS3 titles. I wrote the Abstergo Entertainment stuff and the war letter collectibles in the historical part. If you're done with Black Flag and want more nautical stabby-stabby, give Rogue a shot! #PortfolioDay
Proof that I have always been like this: Back in 2014, I helped created Kiyoshi Takakura: A YAKUZA-ASSASSIN and it kills me we never got a modern day game with him and Saeko Mochizuki, the grandma mentor of the Kyoto Brotherhood. Imagine if he had been in Shadows modern day! #PortfolioDay
While Initiates was downgraded from an ongoing storytelling thing to like a companion app for Unity, a lot of the characters I helped bring to life survived in various Assassin's Creed transmedia and I was always really proud of that. #PortfolioDay
My first work for Ubisoft Montreal was updating their Encyclopedia to include info from AC3 & Liberation and that got me a gig on #ACInitiates, a website dedicated to tracking the modern day story in real time. I had a lot of fun creating a new squad of modern Assassins. #PortfolioDay
Batman: Arkham Origins was one of my first jobs in games and as a lifelong Batman fan I couldn't have been more thrilled! (even if they fucked up my name in the credits) #PortfolioDay
OTD in 2011, I finished GOLDEN AXE on PS3. I never had a Genesis as a kid so it was fun to try a few of the classics when they were re-released on PS3. I feel like we don't always do a great job at preserving old games.
This is all very cool but the most important question is will you take a monkey or a cat as your pet on the Jackdaw?

I read PLANET HULK PRELUDE combining an FF story where the Hulk loses control in Las Vegas, which transitions into the plot by to get him off Earth. Is it necessary to read before Planet Hulk? No. Is it fun anyway? Yup.
I read GREEN ARROW BY KEVIN SMITH (illustrated by Phil Hester & Ande Parks) Lots to enjoy, the art is great. I thought the story was interesting how it went from relatively street-level to cosmic quite quickly (part of the character's resurrection) but didn't feel too jarring. A good reinvention.

OTD in 2016, I finished UNCHARTED 3: DRAKE'S DECEPTION on PS4. It hontesly felt like 2 or 3 different games kind of bashed together but the sinking ship setpiece is incredible.
OTD in 2015, I finished Far Cry 4 on PS4. I really liked the setting, and "you don't text for help, you SCREAM for help" remains an all-time great moment.
Nico Minoru from Marvel's Runaways. There's the excellent comic book version, there was a fun live action version a few years back on Hulu, and she's rules in the Midnight Suns video game

I got distracted by work shit and life shit but let's blast through some more awesome AAPI x LGBTQ+ comic book characters. Starting with Grace Choi an Amazon who was abandoned to man's world and became a member of the Outsiders
OTD in 2023, I finished GOD OF WAR HD on PS3. It was my first time playing it and I really enjoyed it. I know they're remaking it, but I honestly wish we made older video games continually accessible instead. This game still rules.
