We are in the process of adopting a new kitty that found us outside! She is the friendliest stray we have ever met. Appointments in a couple of weeks, and then she can integrate with our other cats!
Made an amazing quinoa salad tonight that will be part of my lunch for the next week!
Random health food post! My lunches for the past month or so have cost less than $30 combined. Lentils, barley, and beans can be cooked easily from their raw state. For me, a single bag of lentils + sauce and other veggies lasts a week and I never get tired of it! A bag is maybe $4 for a pound.
Made a curried red lentils from scratch for lunch, made a lot of guesses, but it's actually delish. Although it would probably be better as a sauce over something at this point. 😆

If the person you support--no matter the reason--is deliberately discriminating against a marginalized group of people for no legitimate reason, you are on the wrong side of history. Full stop. You supported hate and baseless discrimination.
Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Over 40% of trans people have committed or have attempted suicide. I am part of that 40%. It isn't something I talk about openly, but I think it's important to simply remind you all to be kind--you don't know what goes on in someone's else's soul.
