Thanks Page. I was getting an album off a top shelf and something else fell. It was a memory book Toronto Rehab had made for Gord. I haven't seen it in years. These pictures were in it. Seems odd it fell on me today.
This little treasure was found by a friend and I where we go to feed stray cats. I was so intent on feeding, I walked right past him. We looked for mommy but couldn't find her. We took her to the Toronto Humane Society. Thank you for taking her.
My day began with this wonderful girl. She seemed confused and I told her to follow me. To my amazement, when I turned, she was following. I stopped about every 10 feet and looked behind. She was there and waiting. I would wave her forward and say," come on sweetie. Follow me."
My first tulip! I put 5 bags of soil down on Sunday, 10 today. Only 35 more.
The world may be going to hell but there are flowers in Japan.
We went up Mt. Sefuri today from the level of the Armed Forces installation. The stairs are rock and uneven. With balance being an issue, it was a bit scary. One set of steeper stairs, I went up like a toddler and backwards going back down. Son said he was proud of me. Makes it worth it.
People in Japan are enjoying the sun, the cherry blossoms and family. It is so lovely to see this in a world like we have now.
We got closer to this guy than I ever have been able to. I think he is a heron.
My 80th birthday has been a series of celebrations. This is my last one with my son and daughter-in-law in Japan. The restaurant has a yellow jacket to be worn for 80th birthdays. Also a fan and a hat. I declined the hat. I often have a look of bewilderment on my face in pictures.
We found this little guy outside crying in the rain. We got him into my garage on heated pads. Wildlife Centre figures he has distemper. They said to call animal control. I am very sad.
This guy watched me as I dug out my paths to bird feeders and cat feeders. I kept telling the squirrels to watch out and him to go away. Finally he left in a snit.
My first cat feeding is at 6am. The feeding place is between a mountain and a goodly drop down to the creek. I decided this morning that I am not going there till daylight. Long boring answer.🤣🤣
