It's LGBTQ+ Pride month, and let me say with pleasure that this year was the first in which I had graduating seniors with two dads. It was 21 or so years in the making, but for me it was a welcome first. Happy Pride month to all!

Today 170 people turned out to protest on the sidewalk in front of the Walmart on Elmira Street in Sayre, PA, one of the reddest of small towns in Bradford County. I'd say that passers-by were about 10 to 1 in favor of the protestors.
"I am Oz, the great and terrible." He could be stopped, you know. Like the Wizard of Oz, he's mortal. Congress must stop cowering in terror, and put an end to this madness.

Remember this? When I was in Waverly this past weekend and drove past St. James' Church, I remembered the lines around the block for the free meals during Covid. How could we have forgotten this so quickly? Times were not good in 2021.
