Shocked at the news of actor Sam Neill’s passing at the age of 78, especially after his news of being cancer free earlier this year. A great character actor, best known for his role as Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park franchise but leaves a larger body of work behind, a true loss RIP

Finally saw the Mando movie yesterday and it was huge fun, great two hours of adventure. Just the palette cleanser the franchise needed after the mess of the sequel trilogy, it might not gross a billion but it doesn’t need to, it just needs to show people that Star Wars is enjoyable again.
Film editor Marcia Lucas died, aged 80. Whilst her contributions to story/editing have been taken out of context and given this whole mythic status by some of fandom that she alone is the one who made Star Wars a success, you can’t deny her brilliant Oscar winning editing work in the trench run. RIP
