New bike weekend 🤩 Since not living in the city anymore I started taking the car to do just about anything, mostly because I didn't have a bike fit for short quick trips - this should change that 😃 (If you've have said my first Canyon would be electric and this frame I would have believed it 😅)
Ending the weekend with a new book 🙂 Feels like I haven't done anything meaningful over these past few days but merely get through thud heatwave is more than enough.

Soaking up some sun this afternoon 😊☀️ - garden is finally coming along, just need to flatten the last of the dirt and then we’re planting the trees in 2 weeks, grass the week after that 🌳
Next up: making pancakes for Lichtmis tomorrow and watching cyclocross worlds.
Trying to make it slow Sunday morning and finish this book. I’m enjoying it and haven’t had any focus or energy for reading this week - which tracks with how exhausted I feel. 😴

Today could be the day where we *finally* clean up the last mound for dirt left over from building the house (needs to go around to the house to level things before we can do landscaping next year). Fingers crossed we get it done 🤞
Early start on a Saturday so getting some beans in from my roaster friends 🙂 we’re laying tiles for the outside terras today, the next big big step in getting the outside of the house finished.
