Once Brooklyn Furniture Emporium (a 1958 mid-century landmark with Mad Men vibes), this spot is now abandoned. A developer bought it for condos, went into receivership with $28M in debt, and recently listed it for $1 just as a marketing gimmick to spark a bidding war.
