Dallas has its own unique “I Voted” stickers this time. Neat.

The best amalgam of DC’s war and western comics came out in the 90s: Guns of the Dragon by Tim Truman. Bat Lash and Enemy Ace in Southeast Asia between world wars.

I’ve said DC is leaving money on the table by not collecting their Silver & Bronze Age war and western comics. This is partially rectified this week.

Before doing much online after I wake, if anything, I try to read and it should be something to help set mood. At the moment, that is Digger Unearthed by Ursula Vernon. Digger is fun to spend time around and it's a joy to learn about the world she dug herself into.

Picked up The Art of Harvey Kurtzman several library sales ago and I've barely looked at it since. Cracking it open this morning to enjoy with my coffee before engaging with the world outside.

I've never read, never even looked for Bizarre Adventures #29. That's because of the cover story. I thought the issue was an adaption of Lawnmower Man the movie and not the short story it's based on. The story is Illustrated by Walt Simonson, so I'll start watching for it.

It occurred to me I first encountered Ron Randall's work in the Conqueror of Barren Earth backup feature in Warlord. I fell in love with Jinal but, in retrospect, it's obvious I wanted to be her. Someone at DC should see about collecting the backups and miniseries.

I couldn't tell you why deporting people minding their own business, going about their day offends my morals and sensibilities. It's not as if I had any strong role models when growing up.

On the left is a Wookie so embarrassed to be in the show, he told his people were called Moks just to hope it never got out. Instead of giving his name, he gave the school he was studying at, UCLA, which the producers took as his name calling him Ookla. They made him wear undies rather than letting everything fly free, as all Wookies have done since time immemorial. He now can't return home.

I went looking for one book because a question to the public popped up in my feed. Trying to find it, I found Transylvania Station by Donald & Abby Westlake with a Gahan Wilson cover.
