Game #9 of 2026: Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Officially my new least favorite in the franchise. A bloated, exhausting mess of a game with an incredibly dull story and practically zero AC DNA in it. Now I remember why it sat in my "not played" pile for so long. #ACOdyssey #Gaming #PS4
Game no 8 for 2026 - A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead on PS5, and unfortunately, it follows the rest of the film franchise (minus the brilliant first movie) into missed opportunity territory. Generic gameplay, sterile environments that kill the tension, and no character development.
Just finished Absolute Green Lantern Vol 1: Without Fear and, unfortunately, it's another weird take that didn’t quite work for me. I'm really not sure if it's a universe I want to keep dipping into.
Just finished Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol 1: Martian Vision and I'm honestly so torn. It’s an incredibly strange take on J'onn J'onzz that I'm not entirely sure I actually like. Still, it’s intriguing enough that I'm willing to give it another go to see where it leads.
Just finished Absolute Superman Vol 1: Last Dust Of Krypton and wow, what an incredibly interesting reimagining of the Man of Steel. Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval absolutely nailed this version. Easily my second favorite story in the entire DC All In run so far.
Game no 6 completed for 2026 - Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5 and I don’t get the cult hype. It captures the MCU humor and banter, but that’s it. The gameplay is mediocre at best, and the story drags on for way too long. A weirdly overrated gem for a few, ignored by everyone else.
Album of the day - Cradle 2 The Grave. Only a few really good tracks: X Gon Give It To Ya - DMZ, Go To Sleep - Eminem, DMZ and Obie Trice, Focus - Kashmir, Slangin' Dem Thangs - Profit. Not the best return from 19 tracks.
Game #5 for the year: #SpiderMan2 on PS5! 🕸️🎮 Easily one of the best superhero experiences I’ve ever had. The action is top-tier and the story hits heavy. A few minor gripes: the pacing drags a bit toward the end, some boss fights felt a little messy, and the MJ missions.
Game 4 completed for 2026 - #Terminator3RiseOfTheMachines #PS2 a surprisingly easy game for that gen. The FPS sections of the game are fun and not actually that badly done. The beat em up sections though seem like an afterthought and are very easy and underdeveloped. A game only for collectors.
I finally got influenced! 🤣 Went to Fortitude Bakehouse and got a Sweetheart Beignet. It passed the taste test but it was never going to live up to the hype.
Another one from the CD box 😀 One Twelve - Hot & Wet. Not their best album but still a couple of decent tracks including - Hot & Wet, All My Love and Knock You Down.
Game no 2 completed for 2026 - #MarvelsUltimateAlliance2 #PS3 a fun superhero beat em up. It doesn't really break the mould but it doesn't fail in any particular area. Set points and boosts to auto it's a much more enjoyable experience. It's the second best version of Civil War after the comics.
Album of the day is Kelis - Tasty. I actually forgot how good this is. Favourite tracks on this listen through - Milkshake, Trick Me, In Public, Glow and Sugar Honey Iced Tea.

First game of 2026 completed goes to #TheEvilWithin2 a really good action horror game. Very light on the scares but the action is good if you like a stealthy approach. If you go all guns blazing then it lacks the weapons and the gameplay suffers. #PS4
#AbsoluteWonderWoman #TheLastAmazon #DC #AllIn a great take on the Wonder Woman story. I haven't bought into many of her solo stories but this one was interesting, even though it has a more mythological focus rather than generic superhero fare. Not sure if I will rush to read more but it was fun.

Game no 17 completed for 2025 #Forspoken #PS5 I really wanted to love this game, especially after the kicking it got from social media. The first couple of hours were ok despite it being unoriginal. It just goes downhill because the gameplay is stale and not fun at all. Graphically it's ok though.
Game no 15 completed for 2025 #Spiderman #PS2 well after about 20 years I finally finished this game and it wasn't worth the wait. Ambitious in its attempts for the time and the hardware but it's because they failed that I rate older Spidey games better than this one.
I have to admit I was sceptical about it but #AbsoluteBatman #TheZoo is an amazing read from start to finish. This new interpretation of Batman gives the character a new direction for fans old and new. Looking forward to reading the next installment early on the new year.
#Invincible vol 1 is a fun read. I like Kirkman's work on TWD for the most part but this take on superheroes is really good.
Game no 14 completed for 2025 #MassEffect2 #PS3 a good game but after putting 50+ hours into it I'm not sure if it's great. The story is generic sci-fi and the gameplay is good enough but there is better from games of that gen. Well worth a play through as you can see how it inspired other games.
Game no 13 completed for 2025 #AstroBot I love this game! I'm not a platforming game kinda guy, but this was just amazing from start to finish. Challenging in parts but not overly so. It's a rarity in that it makes you feel like you are amazing at the game.
FPL GW3 a solid return from my team with 2 transfers banked for GW4. I’m thinking of changing a defender and a midfielder 🤔
A nice addition to my collection. A Luke Cage graphic novel #Everyman is the ground level superhero story that you expect Luke Cage to be involved in. One of my fave collections simply because of the 'villain' and their motivations.
