Roasting and harvesting. Hard storms last night injured some plants (shouldn’t impact much…) but picked some early to avoid split if we get downpours again. But they will ripen.

Some personal news: peppers have popped and the sunflowers are nearly 14-feet tall.
So many beautiful butterflies this year…. Years of planting milkweed and the like has paid off!
Got stuck in the shed during a gully washer… figured I’d just clean shed. Bit warm, bit warm!
Various thermometers, with the shadiest registering 97. But these do not capture the humidity and dew point combo. It might be easier to breath underwater than outside today. Can’t stress enough: take care of yourself, others, and the four-legged friends.
I know, I know, but: devil’s advocate. There’s something to be said for getting to the point. Ok, they want apocalypse. Well, it’s well on the way already (and most folks aren’t aware of the increasing speed up of eco collapse), so why not hit the proverbial and literal gas?
