While I had to work both Juneteenth AND Saturday (hey, at least it’ll be a decent paycheck), I still get to have at least a two-day weekend as I had already scheduled today off earlier in the year—just to break up the month, get some me-time. Gonna read from my Father’s Day present, then write.
Maybe cops shouldn’t pull their guns on shoplifters at all? Or shoot into cars? Or in any situation where bystanders could POSSIBLY be involved? The theft isn’t the problem here, the cop is. If someone can excuse the gun death of a baby by a police officer for the theft of diapers, they’re sick.
