I like road tripping with my dog, more so via motorcycle than an enclosed vehicle. She's been to 32 states so far, the goal is to take her to all 49 continental states. I judge you if you don’t use alt-text. he/his
While a few cards have been revealed that create new token types, the first token revealed is a 0/1 White Human creature token with the text "Permanents can't phase in." It's created by the saga City on the Edge of Forever.
The final set of 2026, Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek, will be released on November 13, 2026
Releasing October 2, 2026 is the third and final in-universe Magic set, Reality Fracture.
Unsurprising, another token revealed is one of the eternal Magic tokens - Treasure. Probably created by several cards, the first one revealed that creates it is Smaug the Magnificent.
The first token released is a 2/2 Red Dwarf Tolkien Creature (love a pun), probably created with a variety of cards, but the first card revealed that creates them is An Unexpected Party.
In the new MTG Marvel Superheroes set, the fact that "Monica Rambeau/Photon" says "Photon" on both sides when every other person/alter ego card only has it on one side irks me.
I was driving home to the Twin Cities after a 5-day road trip and saw a billboard for Boards & Bricks in Osseo, WI and it was only a 4-minute detour so I stopped to check if they had the Doom Variant of Roaming Throne and they did in their unsorted recent acquisitions.
Went 3-0 with this yesterday during prerelease. I wasn’t hopeful initially but it was basically a Swiss Army knife. Funny thing is I never drew the Hydraulic Helper or Wing Harness in any of the 6 games. Leader, Super-Genius is great. archidekt.com/decks/237260...
There 3 main set cards in MTG Marvel Superheroes (MSH) that produce copies of permanents, but the copy token is commander set coded (MSC). The Merfolk token is MSH coded even though it appears in commander decks and the main set.
Had to make some edits, I missed that a couple were new named tokens and that the wall isn't the same as the Theros Beyond Death one. Also the Black Villain is a 2/1. Again these are just the ones that can be pulled from sources used in limited play - Prerelease kits and play boosters.
This is the breakdown of tokens for stuff that can come in the MTG Marvel Superheroes prerelease kits & play boosters (MSH & MAR cards). The codes in parentheses are what I believe are the most recent sets they were available in boosters. Too much text for a single post so it's in the alt text.
Goodbye Through the Omenpaths 2, we never new ya. As foretold, @scryfall.com removed it.
@mtgsecretlair.com probably not a big issue, but your waiting room doesn't have the favicon like the normal site does.
I’m imagining @scryfall.com quietly deleting the row for “Through the Omenpaths 2 (OM2)” from the expansions table.
Now I want to do a Stockman, Mad Fly-entist deck that uses all the budget blinks (sorry Thassa, Deep-Dwelling) since he was featured in the video.
@magic.wizards.com could have done the coolest thing by releasing an artifact and enchantment at rare and mythic to do a whole cycle of "Lumaret" cards of rarities and types.
This is going to get a reprint of some sort with Thanos on it for some MtG: Marvel product with a name like “the snap” isn’t it?
I’m immature so these will be my prepared indicators for Secrets of Strixhaven. #secretsofstrixhaven
This just made me realize there will definitely be "Eurotrip" inspired alters of Scotty in MtG: Star Trek, won't there?
Don't need Tezz. Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Biblioplex Tomekeeper and Relic of Legends allow it to go infinite would need to add a payoff like Grinding Station to mill everyone out.
