Y’all want to see the most dangerous situation I’ve made for myself this week? I built a literal death trap on accident while felling a loblolly pine. This tree: 1. Fell the wrong way 2. Trapped my saw 3. Got hung as it fell 4. Barber chaired. #3 caused #4 from rearranging my body parts.

My problem with super earnest communities is they tend to lack whimsy. And I can’t be only earnest, I must be whimsically earnest.

I just learned we have real honest to God flying squirrels in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Apparently they are nocturnal so rarely seen. I was planning on going to bed, but now I wanna stay up and look for flying squirrels.

while working on chores over the weekend I did a lot of podcast listening. in particular I was curious about what the original agile manifesto guys were saying about agentic coding. I'm still synthesizing, but lots to think about.
