Trying to rescue some old 35mm slides and came across this I took in Malaysia in 1982. Google says Wallace's flying frog (Rhacophorus nigropalmatus.) Not a frogger so I won't dispute this. #frogs

Overnight rains bring out the moths. Some seen on my morning walks the last few days. 4 posted 2 days ago; 3 from this morning. All pretty common. Macrobrochis gigas, Achaea janata (Erebidae) and Chiasmia Eleonora or nora (Ennominae.) #moths #insects

Always a pleasure to find these tiny moths in the grass after overnight rain. I took advantage of my dogs going off to do dog things to take a few snaps. The brown one is Spoladea recurvalis, not sure about the others. #moths #teammoth

Several moths in the grasses on my dog walk this morning. Mostly what I assume to be the Crimson-speckled moth (Utetheisa pulchella) in various states of repair. #moths #teammoth

A nice Tuftwing moth on the track I walk with my dogs this morning. Pterothysanus laticilia, old world butterfly moth. You can just about see the tufts on the wings. Plus an earlier sighting and a mating pair. Quite common around here in the rainy season. #moths #teammoth

Very nice find. We have some seriously hairy moths in Chiang Mai- not just legs. If ever there was a "Hirsute moth" contest, I would put my money on Cheromettia apicata (one that came to my lights a few years ago)

Colour matching: Combretum indicum (Rangoon creeper) out in my garden now. Pretty but stinky. 3 Arctiinae moths: Cyana bellissima (female), Cyana coccinea (male) and unid. Pretty, and inoffensive in every way. See them in the rainy season. #flowers #moths #nature
