Jeff Flake was a spineless wimp and yet even he knew to oppose a piece of shit on the verge of botching a safe seat (which ultimately resulted in the end of viability for repealing ACA). If we can’t be as brave as Jeff Fucking Flake, God save us.
There have been a lot of fictional characters at least partially inspired by Donald Trump. (Future Biff Tannen, I suspect Gene Hackman’s wig wearing real estate obsessed Lex Luther) But the character that I think is the most perfect analog for Trump is Jimmy Wichard from King of the Hill.
It’s funny to me that the animatronic Trump who didn’t look much like him in 2016, looks a lot like Trump in 2026, down to the weird neck and thousand yard stare.
