How else to explain getting this perfect shot in the background? It’s just too coincidental. And if it was actually faked, the staff wasn’t in any danger because no shot would get near Trump. He would’ve just been wiping fake blood on his ear.
Fun fact: St Augustine of Hippo was a seminal Catholic theologian of the early Middle Ages whose thought still shapes church doctrine today. He lived and worked in North Africa, was ethnically a Berber, and probably looked like this. Suck on that for a while, JD Vance.
A couple pictures of Nimbus - in one he’s being the pillow; in the other he’s craftily eyeballing my birthday present
I’m not sure how much more insanity I can take before my brain shorts out
CPT Liam Shaw from Picard season 3 was that character for me. He starts off as a completely antagonistic a-hole, then grows into everyone's favorite dips**t from Chicago, with a total man-crush on Geordi. Todd Stashwick knocked the acting out of the park. Too bad we didn't get more of him.
One of fascism’s slogans was “Mussolini is always right.” Less than a year later, he was captured and shot by the partisan resistance, his body hung from the overhang of an Esso petrol station in Piazzale Loreto. This is the location. In a triumph of liberalism, it is now a bank and a McDonalds.
I’m in Milan for work for the Olympics. Milan is where Mussolini s fascism started. I visited a memorial in Piazzale Loreto for 15 partisans killed in 1944 by the Nazi-Fascist government, who hung their bodies in the square. Mussolini said, “We’ll pay dearly for Piazzale Loreto’s bloodshed.” 1/2
It will be very satisfying when she is eventually held accountable for her destructive rampage through the DOJ.
Nothing better than the original X-Wing! To paraphrase another far-away galaxy’s favorite engineer, no bloody A, B, Y, or Z!
We are all rightly outraged at ICE human rights abuses. We must not stop opposing the fascist Trump regime and its supporters. Meanwhile: we also must not neglect existential threats of economic inequality (which causes or worsens all other problems!), as well as climate change and nuclear war.
As a US Army vet I support Greenland against Trump’s insane threats of annexation. They do not want to be a part of the US, and we must respect their freedom. Attempting to conquer them would be illegal, and would destroy NATO. They won’t, but Congress should impeach and remove Trump immediately.
Given that fascism is here, this question seems as appropriate now as ever. "Are you willing to fight for that person you don't even know as much as you're willing to fight for yourself?"
We have a name for Donald Trump. Why don’t Democrats use it? He’s not just a Manchurian candidate, he’s a Manchurian president!
Congress *should* impeach, convict, and remove this power-mad subhuman monstrosity. But Republicans in Congress put partisanship ahead of the good of the nation by supporting him. They have betrayed America and democracy.
I’m going to mock Christian nationalists mercilessly when they do Trump’s autopsy and find “666” etched on his skull
This is: 1) an illegal war crime 2) an illegal order the military should have refused 3) not justified based on “drugs” 4) impeachable 5) a betrayal of his base by the “peace president” 6) Insane 7) an attempt to distract from the Epstein Files Trump has made the US a rogue state.
Our new cat Nimbus loves those springs! - he likes how they bounces around unpredictably. He’ll chase one all over the house for an hour
If we go by past performance, the only question here is how the Democrats will screw this up.
