Last one for today Rush - Signals Another album that made me love the band I already liked a lot. For as ridiculous as Rush can be, they can write a song. They can hit on a theme. Their song ‘Subdivisions’ is a perfect way to express what it feels like to not fit in.

Next up Wild Nothing - Golden Haze EP this is a release that makes me remember a certain time and exact season in my life. One where I can smell the air of what season and time of day it makes me think of when I listen to it.

First one up Converge - All We Love We Leave Behind This is the album that made me love this band. It’s really direct and aggressive as any Converge album would be, but this one has a lot of emotional clarity. This also probably broke up my love for heavy music.

Me and @liquebot.bsky.social watched this last night and loved it. Well exceeded my expectations.

I still like Charley, but he made an ass of himself recently.

Last one Sixpence None The Richer - This Beautiful Mess A really great record of what made 90s alternative pop so good. Very thoughtful production, some noisy guitars, and great songwriting with great musicianship

Next one Sturgill Simpson - A Sailor’s Guide To Earth I like his Johnny BlueSkies stuff, but it’s not as good as when he was recording with his own name.
