I have been scarce for a while. My Bonnie had a breathing issue for a few months and I knew it was her fate. It turned out to be a tumor and I lost her back in March while I was trying to find her a companion.

Core memory unlocked

We used to go to dog shows at this park in Nampa and at the Western Idaho Fairground in Boise. I used to wander and look at the dog supplies and see everyone putting their last touches on their beloved dog. I learned here that it is important to get permission to pet a dog. I got to pet some of the dogs and caressed their freshly groomed velvet ears. Some would say, NO, DON'T TOUCH MY DOG!!. My mom would be in the show ring with Robin (in this picture) or Robins offspring Lucy. Occasionally, I was in the show ring to with Lucy. One time, I was in the obedience ring with Buttons, I learned that you must keep an eye on your dog. I wasn't the one who trained the dogs. I just occasionally went into the dog show ring in my Sunday best. I wrote a school paper once and did a show and tell on dog show handling with one of the dogs. I think it was one of my coolest papers. My neighbor across the lawn started to call Hunter a dog show dog, I told her that i used to do that. I don't think she believed me, but it jogged one of my core memories. I would like to train Hunter and go to one of those obstacle course rings.
