My office for the past bunch of days... No tornado/'marine tornado' warnings yesterday.
Well, this happened today (amongst various thunderstorm cells). We try again tomorrow.
At Crappy Tire having a car tuneup & inspection in the final step to getting my dad’s car back on the road for the first time in 3+ years.
New month, new pfp. From a photo taken as I awarded the Vice Commodore flag during my last "Commodore's Ball."
4 more days and I will learn if booking a premium ticket with @porterairlines rather than continue with the nickel and diming of @AirCanada is worth it. Last year's Air Canada strike made my Canada Summer Games Porter experience even more fantastic, as I wasn't stranded in NFLD.
Juiced up my < 5 min w/kgs with a short 4 minute all out run after my 10km run today. I could have made it to 5 minutes, but I'll save that for another day.
"Yes, I know about that. It's been there since at least my first chest x-ray at 18. But I appreciate your concern. Thank you for the Naproxin."
Today's easy run with random quick bits was better. Apparently it boosted my aerobic decoupling into the negative. I still have to update my weight. I'll do it next week at my dexa.
Fair. Toronto's the snowiest I've seen it in more than 25 years. But tbf, I've not spent more time here since then, than I have this winter.
A tour of traffic lights on today's run. I should probably stay off of Yonge st and the other major streets if I want longer sustained undisturbed run. Otherwise, it was a good run.
Sadly there was no "FIFA Peace Prize" option to supply for removing my volunteer profile from the 2026 World Cup Volunteer portal.
We hosted a really great group of officials in town for the IRO seminar over the weekend from Germany, France, Great Britain, US and Canada.
new month, new pfp. From a Spring 1999 photo in my Colorado kitchen with a friend who was driving through to Las Vegas with her partner.
Whoops, I'm in unintentional ketosis again. I guess thepotato chips and ice cream do serve a medicinal purpose.
It eventually stopped raining yesterday. But the cold and wind remained. Today was a little more civilized.
After 15 years and a wheelbarrow full of money, my local running store is no longer stocking the @saucony.bsky.social models I use. So, I walked the .5km further up the hill to the Nike store and asked for a pair of neutral responsive trainers. Here goes nothing.
