I counted down the days until my appointment, then did the social distance 6 foot thing in a line that wrapped around the pharmacy. I was very curious about if I would get dizzy or something after. I remember looking at a dandelion growing stubbornly between pavement slabs, and wondering about hope
... which I immediately pulverized parts of into breadcrumbs for romesco. It's the circle of flour 😆
My inside mocs are elk skin and beaver fur, made by an unknown Alaska Native artist 30 years ago. They're howlin' wolf motif and I only ever wear them with socks, I want them to last forever. But they were made to be used, so gently I use them
My Grey girl Roxy (pictured here), a blind Grey named Pepper that I still miss, and a Senegal parrot called Beep that used to do aviary rounds with me.
A situationship: on the front porch is Mrs Violet Green swallow. She and the Mr return to this condo every spring to raise their kids. She would like to speak to a manager, because On the back porch is Mama Junco. She's built a nest, and I'm pretty sure she's got hatchlings already! Drama.
Hello, gorgeous! She went from a stick in the scratch & dent bin of the garden center five years ago to her very first blossoms this year.
This detail we see for a split second on his boots is amazing! Tybalt, Prince of Cats indeed
A beautiful day: walk along a ridge to the sea & saw 2 bunnies, a coyote, a harrier doing that hovering trick they do, & a kestrel. Then a magnificent meal & delicious cocktail called a chinga la migra, my purchase of which donated to the NW Immigrant Rights Project. Fuck ICE & happy spring, y'all
Do you mean kitchen spider? I got one on Samin Nosrat's recommendation & it changed my cooking game! I use it for stir fry, hard boiled eggs, dipping things, it's great
