Already worn out and run down upon waking, I set up a little reading nook under a dogwood tree. Added a folding side table so I wouldn't knock over my tea. Then added the dog for company.

Homemade seitan and mashed potatoes for dinner. Each time I make seitan, I experiment with seasonings. This loaf -- with ginger, hot paprika, cumin, garlic oil, and FODY vegetable bouillon base -- is the best seitan yet.
