When we were in Drumheller we found this incredible coffee shop and roaster - Black Mountain Roasters. Snagged the dark roast (Albertosaurus) and it immediately became @hannalittle.bsky.social and I's favourite dark roast for espressos. Just finished the bag 😭 #coffee #canadian
This trip has been a heck of a time. Lake Louise, Takakkaw Falls, and taking the kids to the dinosaur museum in Drumheller was really fantastic. We're on the long drive back to Winnipeg and boy does the truck need a cleaning. It's a bug graveyard on the front of it... 🤢 Here's a few pictures...
Had a fire going to burn old trimmings, picked up more veggie plant starters, snagged chicken wire to start protecting my plants and trimmed down the jungle grass that had been growing since the storms. I'm enjoying gardening, not flowers, but food. It's truly nice to be outside. #gardening
Began the removal of water soaked walls, drywall, and extra flooring/etc we had lying about in our addition's basement. Washed the cement floors in the basement, and to be safe, put up some drop sheet between the gutting area and the rest of the basement/house. At least it's some cardio? #mbstorm
Decided to go back to something I used in FM22/23, but with the new in/out of possession system. I love a good 5 back. #FM26
Got to try a spice bag, which was an incredible dish. I need to find it in Winnipeg, but I doubt it exists at home. Met @intorowz.bsky.social properly, and explored his town for a few days. An absolute core memory in the making. Appreciate the time so much.
My time exploring Ireland ends, as I'm off to Birmingham and Manchester over the next two days. (Though I'm staying at the Dublin airport before I fly back with WestJet) I can't even put into words how incredibly warm, beautiful and revitalizing my time was in Ireland. So thankful. #ireland
