Welp, 'The Odyssey' is a damn fine film, but not top-tier, unfortunately. It has some major pacing/editing issues and some excess bloat. Just too much crammed in there. Otherwise, the stuff that works, really works. Some great emotional moments from fine actors and incredibly, beautifully shot. 8/10

'Backrooms' is one of the most unique and bizarre mainstream films I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately, it was WAY scarier when you couldn't see what was lurking. Great shots, sets and direction. Just not terribly frightening. 7/10 #filmsky

'Obsession' was crazy good. Inde Navarette gives it her all in a 0 to 100 and back to 0 performance. Just, wow! Curry Barker made a remarkably weird, insane and taut freak out here. A batshit date movie for a batshit era.

'Is God Is' is goddamn incredible. Hilarious, touching, and brutal. Incredible performances by Kara Young, Mallori Johnson and a terrifying Sterling K. Brown. Go see it while you still can. Give this movie your money!!! #filmsky
