PNW raised, sprinkle of NYC, now in HK living out my travel Asia dreams. PR/comms by day, addicted to news, likes to hike, read, eat, nap, watch bravo. Opinions my own.
I’m so happy to be back in Central Oregon. Even though I moved away years ago I will always be an Oregon girl.
I went to Shenzhen this weekend and I get the hype?! So much good food, so much to do. I feel like I barely scratched the surface and I want to go back
My moment of zen was visiting Kyoto this cherry blossom season. Something I’ve wanted to do for over 20 years. One for the books. I can’t wait to go back
Spent a week in Thailand to ring in the year of the horse. Lovely people, lovely scenery, lovely food. I did catch some amoebas though 😬
I stumbled across this gorgeous little cafe on the river off a sleepy street in Hoi An weeks ago. The salt coffee was a dream. I’m still thinking about it so here are some pics.
The news is still awful so here’s a picture of a beautiful banyan tree in the middle of the city. It’s the best I can do this Christmas. Hold your loved ones tight.
Ended our day in Cheung Chau with dinner by the water. Couldn’t recommend packing your stuff and moving to the other side of the world enough.
Walked all the way down these stairs then realized I went the wrong way and had to go back. HK is too steep but I still love it
Here’s a view of Center Street, Sai Ying Pun. The walk up to our Airbnb is so steep and it’s so hot and I’m so sweaty every day, but Hong Kong is still awesome.
