If your faith tells you god will punish the US for "tolerating" the LGBTQAI (like Sodom & Gamorrah), you may be right about the punishment, but not the reason. They were destroyed for not helping the poor & needy. You know: like GOP policies.
In Chemistry class, we learned that boiling pennies in it, in a sealed room, without air filtration, would coat them in Mercury. And then we played with those pennies with our bare hands. That was what passed for as "adult supervision" in those days.

Jesus is basically saying that Republicans are going to Hell. Man, I wish I believed in Hell, so I could feel good about them getting what they deserve.
