Smut in disguise.

1st red flag: author note before story about finding "true self".
2nd: a sex change in addition to body change by the MC. In my 35 years reading experience these rarely go well. This was no exception.
3rd: Offer of a mixed-species lesbian threesome.
I quit reading here.
One wonders why the author puts such scenes in a book intended for minors.
The writing itself was overall solid, so shame she decides to be so PC.
Leave the alphabet hang out of my escapist fantasy.
Fortunately there's plenty of other books out there.

On the weekend I got to do something I had never thought I'd be able to do - I got to pretend for a while that I could be a mermaid! I had so much fun posing for a bunch of photos and having a go at swimming with a tail! I loved every single moment of it and definitely want to do it again!

Had a magnificent weekend away at Mt Glorious. It was so nice getting the opportunity to be away from the noise of civilisation for a while, not even logging onto social media for a few days.

Gender euphoria is finding an oversized t-shirt so big, it even lets my six foot tall self feel the "small girl in her boyfriend's clothes" vibe. I am wearing shorts in this, but the t-shirt is still longer than them!

Maybe we shouldn't be creating a panic around an "AI detector" that is advertising how to "humanize" AI generated text. It wants people to think the text sounds AI generated so people use a specific "better" AI slop machine.

The importance of being openly queer (where safe). A cashier felt comfortable to share that she had just started her transition and had been on HRT for three weeks, after she noticed my necklace. I've never almost cried in a pet store before but so happy to have shared that moment with a stranger.
