@rjrock.bsky.social original photo for #postprocess #sculpt with instruction to take what is hard light and sculpt a new view. I chose to highlight the bicyclist by adding blur to anything not the bridge or the bicylist, bringing up the amount of light overall and warming it. More details in ALT

Increased the shadows, warmed the light, sharpened and darkened the bicyclist, darkened some of the rocks to stand out, adding gaussian blur with a mask for everything but bridge and bicycle

Opened in camera raw to fix toning, inverted it, played around a little bit with the levels to make it more balanced, Opened it in Topaz to denoise and sharpen, back to Photoshop to add color and replace the sky.

In Photoshop, I cropped it down, did a sky replacement with the rainbow and then added some photos from others that I have taken erasing their backgrounds and adjusting their saturation to match the target.

Original photo by #rjrock.bsky.social #surface #postprocess This week I decided that his big piece of rock needed some grass, so got the device out that sprays grass seed on a surface hoping it will take root with some good rain. Details in ALT #ECK

The main change was to select one of the colors in the rock with a shade of green and then make it a bit fuzzy in the sub-settings of that menu, then played around with the levels a bit and brought up the blue in the sky with some dehazing of the raw image.

Inverted (black to white and vice versa) then isolated Mt. Rainier to emphasize the snow, added vignette and made the sky a bit more stormy.
