Effective immediately, the Los Angeles Dodgers will play in Dolores Huerta Ravine.
Waiting for a haircut, they sell something called STMNT. Disappointed that it stands for Statement and not Super Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I can't get my new iPhone to stop saving photos as HEIC. I don't care if it's the wave of the future, or if it's better quality (is it?). The present still uses JPEG or PNG. Or even webp, whatever that is.

I really wish that the Anime Expo app didn't open with the unavoidable bunnygirl waifu ad.
"Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer ..." I don't know how I got this email. It's from "reply@a.victorynowusa.com" and it claims to be from NRSC HQ. It sounds like fearmongering paranoia, and I'm sure that MAGA would fall for it. "Big Tech doesn't want us to reach patriots like you."
According to this email ad I just got, dads and grads really want external memory for graduation/ Fathers Day.
It arrived while I had the mail on hold during the trip, but it arrived. My "Anime Expo Fulfillment" from the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation - an Anime Expo 2025 badge; and official brochure, featuring a poster and a map. Oh, and some sort of iron-on decal patch? #AnimeExpo2025
found while unpacking: unopened Continental Airlines earphones with two jacks (useless for anywhere except an airplane). People apparently buy these things on eBay, although United Airlines couldn't seem to get rid of the new ones fast enough. I brought home at least a couple of pairs.
Today's episode of Mono on Crunchyroll catches up the anime with the end of the first volume of the manga, which I finally just finished at the beach yesterday.
I thought this was Anya at first. I didn't realize Nadeshiko's father was that much taller than her. (Mono anime at Crunchyroll)
within the world of Mono, "Laid-Back Camp" is apparently a fictional manga and anime series, but they pass by a suspicious-looking blue-haired girl riding an aqua blue Yamaha.
A little meta humor: Mono visits Lake Motosu, where the Laid-Back Camp anime was "filmed" www.crunchyroll.com/watch/GVWU8X...
I hope this guy (and his cat-faced sergeant) returns. He gives off Zenigata vibes, only more of a threat. (Yes, I would know if I read the manga) This was a hilarious episode of MHA: Vigilantes. Very nice and friendly middle school thugs, a fun "tough superhero" deconstruction, a lot of humor.
From the anime "Mono." Not shown: Taking photos of a cosplay photographer taking cosplay photos.
So I started to type "Is Meowth" and the first autocomplete suggestion is "Is Meowth Jewish" which is something I never thought about. There's even a website, Jew Or Not Jew, which says that the Pokemon has a "Jew Score" of 3. www.jewornotjew.com/profile.jsp?... so, uh, Happy Passover (tonight)?
Demonstration on Torrance Boulevard, near the Civic Center, at about noon on Saturday. It got thicker the closer you got to city hall.
This was a block before we even got to the Torrance Civic Center at about noon today. Moderate Democrat, middle-class suburban Torrance came out to say no to Trump.
It's only the first anime episode, but "The Catcher in the Ballpark" a.k.a. "Catch Me at the Ballpark," with its theme of "two idiots fall in love" reminds me enough of "Aho-Girl" or "Girlfriend, Girlfriend" that I wanted to make sure it wasn't a Hiroyuki manga. www.crunchyroll.com/watch/G14UVJ...
In 2011, Google was still in "Don't Be Evil" mode, and sent a Street View camera to San Diego Comic Con.
After watching my cholesterol and fat for years, I can honestly say: There is virtually no difference between beef curry, chicken curry, turkey curry, pork curry, or vegan meat substitute curry. Same goes for spaghetti sauce, mabo, chili, and other heavy sauces.
Bringing a sword to a gun fight. Democrats: Check out how clever we're being, losing this fight so we can win later, we can follow the rules, we can be bipartisan, we have ideas and a plan, it will just time a long time to come to fruition, bear with us. Republicans: *bang*
Somebody at Trader Joe's used a pulley system to tie mascot Wally the Whale to the front doors. When the doors close, Wally goes up.
