The field over the road is having a polo day. My dogs on a lead & carrier. I've already had 'lord fat man' tell me dogs & horses don't mix, that he should be on a lead (he is) & 'lady entitled' the let's her vicious pugs out which attack my dog. My Wife says: dogs on leads: which drew a sneer.

My pup is 14. I'm going walking in a week and he won't be able as he has arthritis and hip dysplasia. So.... I have a special dog carrier so he can be there... He is the boi and a very good one.

I love the amount of insects and butterflies and hawk moths and bumble/honey/minerbees I get in my small garden. Especially this year. Not an immaculate garden, certainly, but filled mostly with hardy British garden flowers and wild enough in parts for the little creatures to do their thing.
