I’ve been songwriting with my daughter and we released a track on SoundCloud a few days ago. It’s been getting a decent number of plays which is amazing. So I thought I’d share a tiny behind-the-scenes bit of home recording… it’s a beautiful way to spend time together 😍
In the explosion age of AI why would our startup, Debriefer, be doubling down on the seemingly mundane world of Forms?! Well, we believe they are one of the most overlooked yet best implementations of agents today. It started 2 years ago building digital twins 🤖👯 🧵👇
Bloody love it Moose! 😍😍🤙 This is exactly where I’m sat right now, mixing a song I’ve been making with my 12yo daughter (prepping for a release!). Hope you’re well x
So um. I managed to finish and launch my first podcast using Sidebar! 🏆 It’s not perfect but I’m in a habit now of recording daily and trying to just improve a bit day by day. #buildinpublic
Lots of bugs fixed in usesidebar.app but this is the best update. Turn any section of your daily voice notes or your entire podcast into a themed, subtitled video for social media. Lots of polish has been added to ensure music beds correctly, text syncs correctly without killing memory etc.
Scary 😳 The first week of my FIRST EVER podcast is done and I’ll try and get it published over the weekend. It has been a lot of fun and learning as well as habit building. I know it won’t be great but I’m also keen to just ship it and improve. Wish me luck 🤞
I’ll make a quick vid so that I can share some audio (hmmm that gives me an idea!) and here’s the standard artwork that gets provided - pro plan has customisation.
Yup, I've been back on Claude. Introducing Sidebar - an app that I have wanted for ages. Daily voice notes that can be turned into a weekly podcast all from the phone in a standardised structure. Aiming for blog as a pod (but "plogging" isn't a nice word). TestFlight launching this week!
It has been a lovely treat this evening to work on the Brandparser.com home page using a mix of Claude and an image editor. You can see what you get now.
In just 5 minutes I asked Claude Design to design Claudia - an AI-Native Design & Vibe Coding Interface...
I’ve been playing NIN + Boys Noize at Coachella on YouTube to non-fans and they have all been blown away. And then they drop Nine Inch Noize yesterday 🤘
I just built this (it made up the content) using Claude Design and brandparser.com in under 5 minutes. It follows on from me using our co-working space as an example. So 2.5 minutes to get solid brand from a URL, and Claude used the brand via MCP and created this in around 5 minutes.
When the whole world feels insane, getting out on the water is just the best. Nature wins every time.
This was really fascinating for me. Building 2 new sites at the same time as doing our IT audit, I needed a nicer way to design consistent photography. I knew precisely what I wanted and how to set it up, and managed to get this perfect little editor, just for me, up and running in 1 hour.
It’s blowing some serious wind today but it’s beautiful and sunny out. 82.5% renewables right now! (Plus great for watersports 🤙) grid.iamkate.com
First commit for Brandparser.com was Feb 12th. Then yesterday I had to make a presentation for our co-working space. It took about 3 prompts in Claude using the Brandparser MCP. I shared it and a designer friend (that works with AI all day), asked how I managed to get it so on brand... 😍🎉
Quite a lot of updates today! 😅 The developers / API set up is pretty much finished for brandparser.com AND with multiple environments. #ClaudeCode has been the perfect partner for getting this part finished.
A little update to brandparser.com that now means you can make adjustments to crawled data typography for brand precision. Everything is editable and now that this hooks up well with LLMs, having a great set of typographic guidelines keeps your generated work perfect each time.
... 5. Claude produced a 100% on-brand landing page!! 😳🥳 This was honestly a lot harder than I initially thought! Still lots to add, but the fundamentals work very well now.
... 4.I asked "Write me a very small landing page for a new product for our company, Datafiltr. The product is to tease a simpler way for collecting student outreach feedback. Be 100% on brand" ...
🔥🎯 It has taken a *lot* of work to get this to work end to end. Basically: 1. I handed brandparser.com my URL (the image is a screenshot of the actual website for comparison) 2. I waited 2 minutes as it prepared my detailed brand guide 3. I configured our MCP server with Claude ...
Today's little update. Parsing design elements from a URL has been hard - much harder than I thought months ago. Each time I think it's there, I throw a different type of website into the mix and realise how getting consistently good results requires quite a bespoke pipeline.
It has been extremely hard to get really accurate, consistent, fast results for parsing a brand. Just colours (colors) alone has taken a few days to refine with Claude beavering away. But it has taken a combination of human ideas and AI implementation to get a great solution.
