Exciting news from the Jimmy Movie! Singer and actress MŌRIAH will perform the film's original song, "Home to Me," while award-winning composer Grant Fonda-the great-great-grandnephew of Henry Fonda-has created the film's original score. The film JIMMY premiers on November 6, 2026.

A bit of movie trivia: In Spain, THE NAKED SPUR was released as COLORADO JIM. Did “naked” not translate well? Did “Colorado” shout “Scenic American Western”? Did “Jim” offer up international name recognition and box office appeal? Our guess is “Yes” to all.

“Packed with Technicolor thrills” and starring Jimmy, Janet Leigh and Robert Ryan, our matinee this week is the story of a bounty hunter trying to bring a murderer to justice who is forced to accept the help of two untrustworthy strangers.

Jimmy was fascinated with Charles Lindbergh’s famous flight and aviation in general. When he graduated from Princeton in 1932, he was awarded a scholarship to continue his studies in architecture for his thesis on an airport terminal design. See THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS with us tomorrow.

Coming up at 5:30pm on @tcmtv.bsky.social is THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS (1957). Jimmy was passionate about aviation. Later in his life, he recalled Lindbergh's famous flight as among the most significant events of his youth. He lobbied Warner Brothers to get the role. Directed by Billy Wilder.

Philip K. Scheuer of the Los Angeles Times called SHENANDOAH “a curious film for this day and age, a kind of anachronistic throwback to the bucolic”. “(James Stewart) creates a unique character and sustains it convincingly through stress and tragic change." See it in our theater this weekend!

Before HARVEY became one of Jimmy’s most beloved films, it was a Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway play by Mary Chase. Jimmy stepped into the role of the kind-hearted Elwood P. Dowd during summer productions in 1947 and 1948, and he fell in love with the character. See it with us this week.

Our weekly matinee is 1950’s HARVEY. Due to his insistence that he has an invisible six-foot tall rabbit for a best friend, a whimsical middle-aged man is thought by his family to be insane-but he may be wiser than anyone know. Pookas always get free admission.

Our matinee this week is 1937’s SEVENTH HEAVEN. Co-starring Simone Simon. A Parisian sewer worker longs for a rise in status and a beautiful wife. He rescues a girl from the police, lives with her on the seventh floor of a flat, and then marches off to war.

In THE MURDER MAN, Jimmy plays the role of Shorty, a tongue in cheek nod to his being one of the tallest folks in the cast. See it in our theater this week at 1:00pm through Sunday.
