📍 PHL Politics, transit, airplanes, tech, and Other Nonsense He/Him Floating along with @seemtoggle.bsky.social
I took @seemtoggle.bsky.social up for a PHL city tour late last week and they haven’t yet uploaded any photos from it, so I’ll just do it for them (because I was told to focus on the flying). My second time flying through the PHL Class B (other than landing at PHL during the pandemic).
In case you were wondering where the World Cup is being played this week, I found this extremely helpful map
Decided to get into film photography, and took some B&W shots around Philly with my mom’s old Minolta GX1.
Quick currency re-up (VAY-MIV-VAY). Landings were smooth but annoyingly long with respect to my aiming point. A good night to fly.
Less crazy than I thought it’d be, honestly. Seems like a good crowd though
Can’t tell the difference between “scared” and “wildly misallocated in our economy,” apparently. They’re right, I’m not sad.
I hear you. For me it’s made more challenging by this Choice in airport location (I fly out of VAY and there’s a non-standard TPA to avoid a pattern conflict at N14).
Our living room HomePods have decided to go rogue lately, it’s simultaneously amusing and annoying. (We have two in a stereo setup sitting on top of an electric fireplace, offset from the TV by some distance.)
When your husband makes plans because you personally have no motivation ever:
Can’t decide if I should take I-76 from University City to Camden (Delaware County) or US 30 through Bensalem
