Got a Silver Emergency Alert on my Light Phone 3. Noticed the link on the bottom was underlined, so I tapped it. Brought me to the CHP X Twitter account, and now I'm scrolling through YouTube. This phone isn't supposed to be able to do this. 😲
I'm in love 🖤 Distraction-free tech is the only thing that could get me to review things for a living again. #Freewrite
Hahahaha omg what a cult classic 🤣 (Still have mine on CD!)
Coming soon: a feature about my wedding in a certain online magazine 🤘
Gearing up for another Tech Tarot reading about the state of technology v. society in 2026. I know we're halfway through Jan., but this is the card I pulled for this month. In reverse.
Apologies for not publishing a new article yet this week. My first Tech Tarot sent me down a research rabbit hole, but it's been a glorious journey into the history of nuclear weapons, LSD, and MKULTRA. It will be ready tomorrow and available in full for all to read.
It's taken longer than I anticipated, but I'm launching my blog/newsletter, Not Enough Search Volume — next week! It's where I write about the past, present, and (potential) future intersections of technology and humanity. To connect the dots where traditional and independent media fail to do.
Don't worry, guys! Apparently natural gas, fusion and solar are gonna help create those electrons! 🫠
For visual context, here's the part of the freeway that's closed (in blue). Anyone traveling to/from OC/SD would need to travel via any of the red lines. PCH merges with the I-5 in Dana Point, and the Old Pacific Highway starts at Basilone Rd. The green void in the middle is Camp Pendleton.
Tell me something I didn't already know, 23andMe 😂 I must be extra special since I tore both of mine before I turned 20 😂
I have no idea what kind of plant this is but it's easy to propagate!
I like walking to my mailbox on a normal day, but today is a special day. #theaicon
