Scoop out of blender onto parchment paper, plastic wrap or into container then roll or shape as desired. Could also drop pats onto cookie sheet to let them harden into individual servings.
If you want the herbs/ garlic to be chunky, add the butter and blend until desired consistency. If you want them finer, blend along the way. Additional suggestions: fresh sage, crushed red pepper flakes, Calabrian chili, black pepper, dashes of lemon juice, goat cheese, Parmesan, pine nuts
Sauté the herbs on medium high heat for 2-4 minutes until the herbs are crispy and the butter is the desired shade of brown. (In the future I’m going to add more butter and let it get almost black) Scrape herbs and butter into a cuisinart or blender and add 2-4 cloves of garlic (2 is Midwest style)
Friend gave me a few branches from her oregano plant, and the leaves were a bit, uhhhh, sturdy so I came up with this to work with them and my leftover thyme and (sturdy!) rosemary: Italian Seasoning compound butter (little bit browned) 1-2 tbsp each fresh oregano, thyme, rosemary in 1-3 T butter

Our newest family member is recovering from the final surgery for a broken jaw. While watching a movie together we saw her yawn SO WIDE and realized it was likely her first yawn in MONTHS! Can you imagine how good that must have felt??!!
My 7lb toy poodle is a bit more athletic but her jaw is so small that she has to work to eat kibble so while she looks kind of elegant running after things, she couldn’t do a god damn thing if she caught it so it’s hysterically funny to watch her pull up, confused as to why she was chasing it
