I'm not saying that this is picture is representative of what it's like to hang with me on a Friday night, but @lillost.bsky.social might have thoughts. (Also, I no fucking clue when or where I took this)
When I worked in an office, I had a wall with portraits called "The National Computing Portrait Gallery". Here are a few selections.
I don’t get a lot of code merged these days, but when I do the notifications always make me smile.
Mostly straight from the camera. Took these with my full-spectrum modified X-Pro 1 using a Kolari IRchrome filter.
I’m working on a series of images of, what I believe to be, iconic dive bars here in Nashville. This morning I got out and got pictures of Bobby’s Idle Hour and Old Glory. These are shots I took through the viewfinder. #photography
Just got back my IR modified Fujifilm X-Pro 1. Expect more experimentation. #photography
Went to a car show yesterday and took a couple of good pictures (at least I think so). I'm not super good at removing background clutter in Lightroom, so see if you can spot my cock-ups. :P #photography #hotrods
Testing using the iPhone to take pictures through the viewfinder of my 500C and printing them on my Kodak Mini 2 RETRO printer. I have always wanted to keep a journal when I go out with my cameras and I think this workflow might just be the thing. #photography.
Randomly found myself at an airport watching someone jump out of an airplane. Followed it up with some cool cars. Unfortunately, the rodeo was rained out. #photography #fujiGFX50r
I drug out the Bronica S, loaded it with Tri-X 400, and went around the neighborhood. Today I tried my hand at developing with my LabBox. I got nervous and thought it wasn't working correctly so I opened the top and let in some light which wreaked havoc with the roll of film. #photography
Stole this @brandonburley.bsky.social fb profile. Simple primer for the TN governors race.
Gotta wonder what the folks who built this hoped for. This little store is in the middle of nowhere today and was definitely off the beaten path back when it was built. Was there ever a successful business here.
Got a new TLT ROKR to adapt Bronica lenses to my GFX 50r. My lens isn’t the best example, but I like it. Now to go outside.
Friend sent this Timelapse of a tree being removed from a house is his neighborhood
Memories of a home. Right here was a home. Full of people Full of laughter Full of tears Full of hope Full of joy But we needed a road. So the house had to go. Daffodil’s are your memorial
Last year I purchased a Fujifilm X-Pro 1 (generally I stay a few generations behind so I can get once good quality stuff). Frankly it didn’t live up to its reputation. That’s mostly down to the lenses. It came with a 35mm kit lens and I purchased a Zeiss 12mm also and I just never clicked with them
This timely document arrived in the mail this week. Anyone guess guesses what it is?
