I am now almost certain I will finish this sometime this year. If anyone out there can see anything obviously wrong I am open to suggestions but also tired and getting sloppy.
I think this is what we call “scope creep”. Started out making an AR messaging app. Accidentally built most of a @rpg.actor client cause the sprites seemed fun. Filing all of this under “experimental” and it may never see the light of day. But it’s cool.
I have once again underestimated the complexity of a task. This is usually a coding problem, but every once in a while it’s a concrete and iron problem.
How insane would it be if there was an app out there that let you draw @rpg.actor items and assets? And then you could mint them and have them distributed to people? If there are good reasons not to do this someone should stop me because the editor is shaping up nicely…

I feel like the individual wrappers would hinder the speed at which I can consume them. Maybe it’s a health thing, like those “slow eating” dog food bowls.
The new Canadian Tire store is pretty cool, it has space in the center of the building that I can only assume is a combat arena.
My receiver died in spectacular fashion at 5AM. A capacitor blew (I think) and caused the speakers to blast out crackling static and other awful noises at full volume. Needless to say the dog was not impressed and we were all confused and scared until we knew wtf was going on 🤣
A friend is moving and getting rid of stuff, they asked if we wanted some books. Of course I said “yes!” Friends, they dropped off what is close to every @stephenking.bsky.social book? There’s also some from Richard Bachman for some reason? Weird.
Back on my bullshit. This is not my work btw, just what I found after opening up a broken switch I bought for cheap due to a broken charge port. If I can get this working again I’ll feel like a god, haha.
Where are the #turntable nerds at? This a “Hitachi P/E 3044” I found at an online auction and I can’t find much about it. I found a forum post saying it’s “essentially” a Dual 1225? It looks like a solid Frankenstein record player sold in Canadian markets?
