I'm amazed at the "companies" that older folks encounter when they're being scammed and ask me for tech support. This one literally answers "why was I charged?" in their FAQs. And it includes this gem of an explanation for "Why Refunds Are Better Than Chargebacks."

Adding to my list of favorite AI hallucinations: The 1951 potato-throwing incident at the Tour de France.

Getting pretty tired of waking up to shit news on Saturday mornings. But I did score this special print for volunteering today. So things slightly evened out.

I just had a little chuckle remembering when an editor basically gave us permission to vote in a staff meeting. A couple of serious newsroom types made a big deal about continuing not to vote as badges of objectivity. I wonder if they ever got those badges.
