Had a great day out with the grandson, scrambling about looking for fossils (we found a few fragments.) Then a couple of hours at the zoo. Fabulous.
Arrived home after our holiday at 3:30 a.m. We spent the morning washing, shopping, sorting out - all the mundane stuff. Then we noticed little resin figures dotted about… It turns out the grandkids have hidden a hundred of them round the house. These are the ones we’ve found today!
Tonight’s Cocktails… Bellini for Mrs B, and a bottle of water for me! (I had a bad stomach last night, so I haven’t moved far at all!)
A lazy day today - a boat trip around the islands. Sun, swimming, food and beautiful scenery.
No more lovely Pavilion today *sob*. Back among the hoi polloi at one of the small pools.
Tonight’s cocktails… Old Fashioned for me and the French 75 for Mrs B (it’s the gin, lemon, and Prosecco)
We’ve booked a beach pavilion for the day, as a treat for ourselves, dedicated waiter service, Prosecco on ice, and a bit of luxury!
Tonight’s cocktail… Gin sling for me. Prosecco for Mrs B (On the beach this evening)
Went to the market and had a pleasant time, even though it was bloody hot. But best of all, walking back along the river, we spotted some turtles! About a dozen all told!

Tonight’s cocktail… Lake Breeze for Mrs B and. Gin Grass Smash for me (it’s green, so it must be healthy, right?)
A nice quiet day at the beach today, a bit of reading, snoozing and visiting the beach bar.
Youngest and her partner are staying close by, so we nipped over to Fethiye on the ferry to meet up. Had a mooch around the Old Town, and Mrs B was delighted to find the wool shop again!
This evening’s cocktail… Old Fashioned for me, Chili Margarita for Mrs B
