Not perfect I realize - who is?- but French Socialist Leo Blum took a pstand for human rights and feminism, his first book being a criticism of marriage. Other socialists were confused... because "women can't vote. What's the point?" He stood strong for the Republic against Fascism 🚩🇫🇷

I'm never afraid to read my opponents views. Good book. But these folks don't live in the same world as I do. Found it hard to even relate to these grievances. But that's not to agree or disagree with the arguments. More an observation

So proud of my kids. We shared our values including thinking for yourself, make your own decisions. One of ́my kids chose driving and ride shares. Didn't pan out. Switched to transit and has 3 months rent saved up.💪🏾 Family member says "aren't you afraid to use transit? You should be."

Love my BC-wide transit meetings, because I ́meet so many interesting people and because we are so diverse and all opinions are welcome. It's the only transit group I'm involved with that includes right wingers looking for alternatives to public transit. We all get along just fine.
