Home away from home. The nurses and support staff begin to feel like family. Maintenance treatment still seems to be going well, but it’s still so difficult seeing people far too young having to deal with this. I’m feeling inspired to do more to help. Much love and prayer to them and their families.
Last week we celebrated the eighth birthday of Odin Aesir King! #DogSky
I see clusters of blueberries! 🫐 The question is, will I be able to harvest them before the dogs? 🙄
Each test tells a story, charts the plan, leads to discussion. “Scanxiety” is real but I’m so grateful that I have access to these tests, access to a medical team that is patient enough to help me understand what’s happening and always willing to involve me in the discussion of next steps…
I don’t get the negativity. I thought it was a blast! Milly Alcock was great.
Treatment day yesterday was uneventful, which is great! No complications, test results all remain stable and encouraging, and my IGG was still above the level of concern so I didn’t need an infusion of immunoglobulins. After days of cold rain, the sun even came out - that’s got to be a sign! 🌞❤️✌️
Another rainy day with three bored dogs, a large coffee, and a pickup full of gas. Let’s see where the open road takes us!🗺️
Happy Mother’s Day! Mine was the absolute best, an endless source of love and inspiration. We lost her far too early, but she lives in my heart every single day.
People come from far and wide for my homemade, low-sodium, cauliflower crust pizzas — and by “people“ I mean the dogs. 🍕
Had an amazing day last Sunday thanks to an outdoor birthday party (yay for safe socializing!) and donuts! ❤️
Another loooong day at the hospital for treatment and IVIG infusion, but maybe it will have stopped snowing by the time we leave. #CancerSky

The Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth, NH, lit up red for Multiple Myeloma Action Month, thanks to Jill from the Granite State Support Group of the International Myeloma Foundation #MoreThanMyeloma🩸 #CancerSky
It’s been almost a month since my last treatment, waiting to see how I handled my first IVIG infusion for my compromised immunity, and whether my lab numbers remained stable during maintenance therapy.
