It’s here. Barbara McQuade was the first person I heard refer to Trump’s running the government like a mafia boss. She truly knows because she’s prosecuted a lot of of them. When I learned she was writing a book I could only wait. Now that it’s in my hands, it will be devoured quickly. More soon.
Reading one of the most important books I will read this year. Got it yesterday will finish it today. I want to encourage all to read it to better understand how we can deal with political liars. Andrew has answers!
Amazing Epstein email from George Conway gtconway3 ® on Threads: If **Jeffrey Epstein** thinks you're a evil and demented sociopath, the odds are overwhelming that you are, in fact, an evil and demented sociopath. @realdonaldtrump
Focus on the size of Trump’s budget for immigration police! It appears he has more in mind than immigrants? The FBI is around $11 billion. The entire US Army is at some $800 billion. ICE probably did not spend $10 billion in 2024 on enforcement. What is going on with ICE getting close to a TRILLION?
This speaks for itself! H/t to a former federal judge who understands what is happening at the US Supreme Court…
Trump had great trouble staying awake at the Pope’s funeral because it wasn’t all about him…. x.com/nlst50/statu... And…
Sadly correct, thanks to Trump and his GOP. It’s going to take a long time to repair the damage he is doing, and will continue to do.
The only people with any confidence in Donald Trump‘s handling of the economy are his hard-core base. When he starts falling into the 30s, which I expect soon, it will be more telling of the feeling that his supporters will not admit publicly.
In case you had not noticed, House Republican leaders want to prevent Congress from restricting Donald Trump‘s insane use of tariff powers. Hopefully this effort can be blocked/filibustered by Senate Democrats.
Just returned from San Diego to visit Alex Butterfield on his 99th birthday. I was stunned that the New York Times all but ignored the seriousness of the current financial crisis with a London based story. Apparently, they thought it would disappear by Sunday? WRONG!
Congress (this weekend) could cancel Trump’s tariffs which are clearly destroying the USA’s (nay, the World’s) economy. It only takes a veto proof resolution by the House and Senate:
Is it a cat? Your answer tells you where you fall on the political spectrum…
