Ever wonder why YouTube channels you've subscribed to never show up in your feed??? YouTube is switching your choice of "ALL" on the notification button to "Personalized," which then gives them the power to decide what you watch. #youtube #shenanigans 1/3

This is a screen print of how a channel I subscribed to, "Clean The City," has had the notification bell changed from "All" when I originally subscribed to "Personalized," meaning YouTube has taken over the authority of what I see and what they recommend. This causes the channels videos to not show up on my "Subscribed" list.

I thank God that the Pope is no longer considering a visit to the United States after how the current administration behaved towards him. I'm not Catholic (although some Hail Marys have been prayed over my lifetime), but the Pope is too important a figure to be put in danger here. #politics

For those who celebrate Easter, this is the day Our Lord rose from His grave, appearing only to His disciples before leaving the density of this Earth. Christ is the gold example of unconditional love. It is sad that so many have turned away from His message to persue wealth and discrimination.

My mother passed away yesterday morning. I found out this AM. The last two years of my mother's life were not the way she wanted to live. The hospital ignored a DNR order, which caused her to spend that time as a prisoner in her body. She is free now to be everything she loved about life. RIP Mom.💜

Not trying to pick up new shows from CBS, but Lucifer's Tom Ellis just started one called CIA (actors and character names are in the ALT description). Started a little choppy, but smoothed out around 11 minutes. Solid cast. It's worth a watch if you're not boycotting CBS.

This week's Celebrity IOU was William Shatner, one of the many treasures Canada has blessed us with over the years. He must have done some very good things to have the perfect assistant show up for him in his later years. There was something eerily final in his wisdom. Don't you dare, God. #StarTrek

This has been a weird start to the weekend. I've watched "Goodbye June," "Hamnet," and "A Friend of Dorothy," all stories focused on death. Is it due to so many boomers dying that it seems to be the theme of the year? It's like God is trying to tell me something.😂

This week's episode of Home Town featured Wendy, a woman who has Fibromyalgia. Listening to her talk about the things she needed to help her accommodate her illness made me feel so seen. It was nice to hear someone talk about dealing with specific Fibro problems in detail on TV. I related very much.

Jamie Oliver is tripping. I watched "Jamie's Feasts For A Fiver." The first recipe on the show was a dish made with chicken thighs. Walmart doesn't even sell chicken thighs bone-in on their website. Cheapest package? $5.52. Aldi was even more expensive. SMH. Clearly, food is cheaper in the UK. #food

On the top of my apartment quality stove (SMH), top left - opened bottle of Martinelli's Sparkling Cider, top right - stemmed wine glass full of said Sparkling Cider, bottom - an almost heart-shaped plate of scrambled eggs with bacon bits, topped with melted cheddar cheese, with two mini croissants lined up across the top of it with some freshly cut strawberries between them.
