I wish I could but I would prefer not to. (Morally) good negotiator. Probably thinking about RPGs.
Mythic Bastionland has the concept of shield- and spearwalls where 3 or more knights can work together. There's also the concept of warbands, which are diegetically larger than just the party, but are still controlled by them. (Screenshots are from the free quickstart so okay to share I think.)
A friend created his own perfect version of "A Perfect Rock" by @deepdark.games and brought it to our weekly RPG meetup yesterday. This game plays as smooth as those planets look, really enjoyed our time with it!
Went through ALL THE TROUBLE to take this photo only to realise that reply guys aren't welcome on the orginal post, so now you all get to see two great lens caps on the official camera of the 1980s!

Yo, you, stop what you're doing. I just learned that there's a version of the Hobbit illustrated by Tove Jansson!
Why is everybody always talking about Huizinga's magic circle and whether it's a good or useful concept, when they could also talk about the fact that the opening of the book fucking rules?
My timeline's friendship with holes ended. Now small flying creatures holding staffs are its best friend.
This is not – I repeat: not – the version of Tic Tac Toe @raphkoster.bsky.social is talking about on this page from "A Theory of Fun for Game Design". But instead a version of the game after his "possible algorithm for innovation" is applied: "find a new dimension to add to the gameplay."
What's a poster you had up in your room growing up? ... 🤷♂️
Just a quick heads-up: I think this should be 6.5, right?
I wrote and re-wrote my answer until I ultimately decided to give into my millenial urges and decided to create this dumb meme instead, to illustrate how I feel:
This especially is kind of insane. Like "inititally couldn't believe it was seriously meant to represent an improvement" levels of delusion right here.
Found this one while looking for that one. Always bet on Bett!
