I love it when you stumble across a really passionate busker. I photographed this guy just as I was leaving an interior shoot on Friday. He was playing country in the sun.
I've just managed to put a Substack update out. First time in 3 months. I think it's about that long since I posted anything of worth here on Bluesky open.substack.com/pub/jonbusca...
Some of my favourite photos from work this week. It feels like Stockholmers suddenly want to sell, sell, sell. #myphotographiclife
From the Torö photo workshop. A bit of balm for my frustrated photographer's soul.
Spent the weekend at an interior photography workshop. I'm incredibly hard on myself, never satisfied with my work, always wanting to be better, generally feel an abject failure. It was good to take a moment to breathe with others who are on a similar journey in an incredibly tough industry.

Grattis!!!!! Jag vet precis vad du menar! (Jag har haft 5 kull men det var ju länge sedan)
A few shadowy blurs in the rain earlier today on Söder / Gamla Stan today. #myphotographiclife
Loved this apartment that I got to shoot this week. Stockholm / Mäklarhuset #myphotographiclife
Couldn't resist snapping in the light on my way back from photographing an apartment near Skt Eriksplan. Light. Light. Light. Finally. #myphotographiclife
6 month check up today. I didn't mention to the doc that I'd played a Keane song on repeat for, er, 12 hours. Tant pis.
I did a shoot in Enköping this afternoon, and grabbed a 15 minute wander around the town square before I left. I’ve been reading a William Boyd novel, set around the Cold War, and for some reason, despite the sunshine, that was the kind of vibe I got in the town. Maybe I was just tired…
More of the returning sunshine and light this morning after two days of rain. (2/2) - Stockholm

The latest installment of My Photographic Life is now out on Substack. In it, I reflect upon this photograph of my father. bit.ly/4ls56n9
My impression of a street photographer 2026. Hornstull, #myphotographiclife
Love this kind of photo assignment. None of that silly but sometimes necessary fluff interior stylists insist on.
