Annihilation of the Tories in heartlands like West Surrey continues.
Good for your liver, I suppose. Women’s final day is going well, as long as by well you mean “poorly”
Always thought Spare's portrayal of treating wounded during gas attack as one that stays with me.
Is this a good time to point out that once when I was over there, I ordered some ravioli and they deep fried it?
I'll post a pic of a suet pie so the seppos can claim it's not real food.
And not to get political, but it was nice seeing how many British Indian and British Asian people were wearing England shirts or England face paint. Glad to see that Farage or Godwin’s sterile and morally bankrupt vision of England was not on show here.
Anyhow, I enjoyed the women’s #T20WorldCup final. Nobody had a sending off reversed, England were reassuringly massacred by the Aussies, and Lords is quite a nice pitch.
Anyhow, let’s hope we can hold Australia to under 150 #T20WorldCup
MCR have covered Pulp's Common People and some people's responses shows perhaps a lack of understanding of what the song is about.
FT Alphaville always had the techbro's number, from Uber to Wirecard.
It was a wonderful game last night at the women’s #T20WorldCup and if any of you can get tickets for Lords on Sunday for England vs Australia, then I would strongly recommend.
England finish on 169-5. Great partnership from NSB and Heather Knight. Now to see if our bowlers can hold South Africa to something low.
Only do it if you're OK with a good ten kilometres of very low tunnels, but it's practically empty and it knocks a good half hour off the péri. But go down via Bologne/Amiens rather than Arras if you are going to use it.
Home time tomorrow, and quite sad about it, even if the weather will be a bit kinder.
Not to get all RS Archer, but the Dordogne is lovely, even in 42C temperatures. My morning runs have been absolutely beautiful.
I am bravely sitting by the pool trying some champagne. Unfortunately, the UV is too high for me to go out of the shade and into the pool.
