While true, the only way it would be possible for the UK to produce enough food to feed its population would be to carpet most of the south of England with industrial greenhouses like in the Netherlands. I suspect that would be even less popular than agrivolteics.

True, but the 65+ is the biggest offender here by far. The 50-64 demographic looks like it's largely just the ex-Tory vote that's transferred over to Reform. The 65+ appear to be massively in favour of both, and go nowhere near any party that isn't batshit fucking insane.
